We had a great dinner here to celebrate a special occasion with friends. The food & service were both very good and by US standards, the prices were quite reasonable. The ambiance/outdoor dining portion is really nice and at times I felt like I was at a swanky restaurant in Southern California.

Prior to going, I read some reviews about people complaining about the prices.... I'm sure by Nepali standards it is pricy... but compared to portions/quality/prices stateside... we were really satisfied with Le Sherpa and would return upon our next visit to Kathmandu! I would definitely recommend pre or better yet post-trek!

We enjoyed a lovely meal at LeSherpa for my daughter’s birthday while we were in Kathmandu on holiday. Service was attentive, with each course nicely paced and the food was lovely.

Brilliant evening out with our teenagers, fantastic service, delicious food and the setting is tranquil. Just want to say again the service here was the best we received in Nepal and if we hadn’t found this restaurant on our last night we would have eaten here every day.

An amazing restaurant in Kathmandu. I am confused by the bad reviews. The service isn't NYC fast, but this is Nepal so relax! Enjoy a conversation with your friends and family; and if you think that $16 for a perfectly prepared rack of lamb is too expensive, then go hang out in Thamel with the rest of the treckers. Realistically though, this place is a bargain. The food is all well crafted, and the cocktails are honed. I know I will be coming here frequently. Enjoy!

Sonam, was especially helpful in arranging our dinner reservation, making the reservation through email was handled quickly, and a birthday celebration cake and flowers added to the experience.

Food was excellent Rabbit croquettes & Modern Patatas Bravas were amazing and the Ostrich for the main course is a must, Charcuterie board to finish could not be faulted.

The selection of wine was amazing as was the service, I will return on my visit later in the year.

I am so grateful to have found this restaurant. Nepal has many charms but it’s culinary offerings are limited. I hadn’t had a really good meal in a week but found this restaurant online. Food was delicious, the setting was unexpectedly chic and the service fantastic. 5 stars!

This special restaurant was well worth the drive. The intimate setting was ideal for visiting with friends and sampling the creative tastes I did not expect to find in this exotic country. All dishes had fresh ingredients with subtle flavors. After several courses and excellent wines, the coffee brought a pleasant end to an otherwise memorable meal.

Visited twice with our group both before and after trek. On both occasions the food was excellent from the soup through to the choice of desserts.
The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant is an unexpected gem tucked away off a very busy main road and is quiet, very well laid out and highly recommended.

I have lived in Kathmandu for over two years, and Le Sherpa remains my favorite. The mustard sauce is yummy! The staff is friendly and the restaurant is always clean and welcoming! Perfect date night spot! Saturday Farmer's Market and brunch are a bonus!
